Black Walnut & the Poison Ivy Challenge!
Over the years, Jim and Pat have had their fair share of poison ivy, oak, and sumac. They've seen tremendous results getting rid of it both personally and when it comes to friends, family, and customers, too! But what about when it comes to prevention?
Daniel with Wysong Tree Service came in asking for a preventative recommendation for poison ivy. He had to service a tree covered in the stuff, with no way around it.
Jim and Pat recommended Black Walnut, taken internally and applied externally.
He started on it immediately.
Armed with Black Walnut, Daniel climbed the tree (in short sleeves!), cut down the poison ivy, and carted it away, all while taking Nature's Sunshine's Black Walnut Concentrate.
He got a few spots, but they stayed put, no spreading, no itching. AT ALL.
In 2016, after a year of using Black Walnut for poison ivy, Daniel wrote this update:
“A lot of people ask me how I get rid of Poison Ivy, Poison oak, and Poison Sumac. This is what I use. It has been my solution to all of these plants for the last year and it works quickly. The itching will subside in less than an hour. The next day you will notice it start drying up. It works no matter how bad the rash is. The toxins cannot stand up to the Black Walnut Extract. I get mine from Jim and Pat @ Natures Finest on Lee Hwy.To prove how well it works. I've had people call me and tell me they have been to the doctor twice. Got the shots. They have taken every over the counter remedy there is and still not touched it. One guy had it for two weeks and couldn't get rid of it, till he tried this. You will know it's gone on the first day. It works plain and simple. I drink half the bottle if it's a mild case. I drink the whole bottle if it's out of control.”
Plus, Black Walnut's benefits aren't just limited to keeping pesky plants at bay. This powerful herb also:
- fights fungus (including candida)
- balances the intestinal tract
- aids digestion
- reduces cholesterol levels
- boosts the immune system
- kills parasites
- combats malaria
- relieves inflammation
- oxygenates the blood
- supports healthy blood sugar levels
- reduces blood pressure levels
- nourishes the thyroid
- and more!
Don't let poison ivy ruin your summer fun. If you have hiking or camping plans, load up on Black Walnut as a precaution, or take a bottle with you in case you come into contact with any pesky plants.
You won't regret it!
